A series of 4 lessons is being taught at each primary school on the subject of acid rain. Pupils are finding out how acid rain is made and what effects it has on the environment.
In each lesson children get to do a practical activity that they would not normally get to do in their primary school. These have included testing materials with chemical indicators, making natural indicators and testing them with solutions, testing acid rain with indicators selected by the pupils and observing the effect of acid rain on limestone. |
