We are tasked with raising £50000 to support our bid to become a Specialist School for Science. Further information can be found in our special edition Parent Post and in our application document
We already have £10000 and are launching various initiatives to add to that. Every penny counts, so even if you cannot afford to contribute money, one of the following fundraising schemes may enable you to ‘do your bit’.
Mobile Phones
We are collecting old mobile phones, so if you have an old one hanging around in a drawer, send it in to school reception. This can raise £2.50 per phone. Ask around relatives and friends for their old ones and bring them in. If 1000 pupils brought in just one phone, that would mean £2500 towards our cause.
Printer Cartridges
Old printer cartridges can raise money for the fund as well. We can take Hewlett Packard (HP) and Canon, (not Epson). This not only raises cash for the school, but is environmentally friendly too. If you have some, then please drop them in at School Reception.
