What is an ‘ Extended School '? |
| |
| Extended schools offer a range of services and activities, often beyond the school day to meet the needs of children, their families and the wider community. Elements of this potential offer include childcare/a safe space for young people (before and after school), a varied menu of activities (from sport and arts clubs to study and special interest groups), parenting support (information sessions, parenting programmes and family learning) and increased community access to facilities |
