| During the course you will work on 5 units of work |

Unit 1 – Human Resources
Unit 2 – Marketing
Unit 3 – Production
Unit 4 – Finance and external environment
Unit 5 - Exam context / revision |

| Each unit of work has specific content to be covered. Unit 5 will encompass elements of the specification covered in units 1 – 4 that have been signposted by the exam brief. |

| Units 2 and 3 will contain a coursework element, which will be assessed according to the assessment criteria (see section on assessment) |
| |
| At the end of each unit of work you will sit an end of unit test |
| |
| You will then be given feedback on your performance in the unit, highlighting your areas of strength and weakness and setting targets for future units of work |
| |
| At the end of the course you will sit a terminal examination lasting two hours. This will be directly related to the context used in unit 5 |
| |
| The terminal examination (75%) will be in two tiers and target the following range of grades |
| |
- Foundation C-G
- Higher A*-D
